In preparation for this year's Spooktober, we teamed up with @gardant.farmboy (Tony) to decorate and maintain the community garden in Yishun. Tony kindly guided us through the garden, sharing insights on the various crops that contribute to Singapore’s food resilience.

We split into groups for different gardening activities such as weeding, seed collection, fertilising of plants and digging of compost.

Unfortunately, it started raining after an hour, but we did not let it deter us! We moved our equipment to the car park and continued with seed potting, lavender propagation, and creating Halloween-themed decorations for the pots.

As a result, our efforts helped clear about two months' worth of gardening work! It was a new experience for some of us and we look forward to more gardening sessions. Do keep an eye out for our spooky decorations!!
