Jan'25 JB Bonding Trip

Earlier this year, OVE kicked off 2025 with an unforgettable 3D2N bonding trip to Johor Bahru. It was a weekend filled with laughter, adventures, and moments that brought our team closer together. 

We started Day 1 with a hearty meal before heading to our Airbnb. While waiting to settle in, we warmed up with card games like Exploding Kittens before diving into trivia tic-tac-toe, "Guess the Song," and other fun activities led by our programs committee. Dinner was a cozy, family-style Grab feast at the Airbnb, followed by an evening of shared activities — celebrating birthdays, playing Mahjong and Avalon, singing our hearts out with karaoke, watching some horror movies, and simply unwinding for the day ahead.

Day 2 began with brunch and some free time to explore the malls. Whether sipping coffee, shopping, or pampering ourselves with manicures, everyone enjoyed a relaxing start to the day. The afternoon's highlight was the escape rooms, where each group tackled unique puzzles and challenges. While some breezed through with confidence, others encountered their fair share of surprises and laughs along the way. Back at the Airbnb, we competed in a series of team games, including blindfolded Wacko, a sweets-hiding challenge, and a squid-game-inspired pentathlon. The night ended with a round of McDonald’s supper and a game that had us laughing, debating, and getting to know each other better.

On Day 3, we wrapped up the trip with one final round of mall exploration. Some of us indulged in last-minute shopping, others treated themselves to relaxing massages, and a few got creative with window paint art. As the trip drew to a close, we braved the packed customs on a rainy evening. Though the journey back was crowded and chaotic, the mood remained lighthearted. By the time we returned, we were soaked, tired, and ready for a well-deserved rest—but above all, we were filled with joy and cherished memories.
