In February and March, we had the privilege of engaging with underprivileged children at Glyph Community, using purposeful activities and games to enrich their holistic learning and bring learning to life.

One highlight was the glider-making activity, where children crafted their own gliders using recyclable materials like styrofoam plates and satay sticks. As they cut and assembled the pieces, they sharpened their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. And of course, no glider is complete without a test flight—so we ended with a friendly competition!

Another crowd-favourite was clay play. The hands-on, sensory experience sparked their creativity, with some children curating their own mini animal exhibitions. This activity fostered teamwork and communication as they brainstormed, shared ideas, and brought their visions to life together. We were really impressed!

Beyond the activities, what stood out was the children’s warmth and enthusiasm. Their energy was contagious, making every interaction and conversation deeply meaningful. Seeing their potential and creativity reminded us of the power of learning through play — which left us just as inspired as they were!
