Our final LCIP of the academic year brought us to Bright Hill Evergreen Home, where we spent a meaningful afternoon reconnecting with our Project Tala experience and sharing it with the elderly residents.
For the activity, we introduced a hands-on craft: painting on pencil cases using vegetable stamps. With bell peppers, potatoes, ladyfingers and more, everyone had fun experimenting with patterns and colours.
We followed that with a round of Filipino-themed bingo, during which we shared some of our own stories, from riding jeepneys to trying balut for the first time!
This naturally led into our OCEP sharing, where we showed photos of our time teaching, doing construction, and living with our host families.
We wrapped up the session with simple seated mobility exercises, bringing back memories of our morning Zumba routines in San Pablo.
And with that, the OVE 24/25 journey comes to an end but the memories, lessons, and friendships will carry on far beyond this final session ❤️
PnP Team 24/25, signing off ✌️
