Social Impact Week has come to an end and we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did! We would like to extend our gratitude to the generous donors and buyers who have supported us and not forgetting those who visited our booth.

Social Impact Week 2016

"Social Impact Week 2016, an initiative by CoLab4Good, aims to promote awareness of social causes in Singapore and remind individuals about the virtues and values within them that ought to be cultivated and not forgotten amidst their hectic lives."

Social Impact Week took place from 18 to 19 Jan 2016 at South Spine from 10am to 5pm on both days.

During Social Impact Week, The Tree of Diversity was represented by OVE.

OVE: The Tree of Diversity

"To promote the spirit of volunteerism and instil the passion to help others by advocating the cause and value of overseas volunteering efforts through OCIP programmes. With this, we hope to inspire many other young adults and allow them to experience volunteering in Singapore or overseas.

We may come from different backgrounds and speak different languages but through our actions, we are able to understand one another. Through this meaningful journey, we forge unforgettable friendships and ignite the passion to serve."

OVE challenged the NTU community to sets of mini charades and it was not as easy as it looked. Participants encountered difficulties mimicking and guessing the different expressions but it was amazing how such confusion could still end with laughter.

Apart from the charades, drawstring bags and mechanical pencils were sold as part of our effort to raise funds which would eventually serve as aid to the less privileged.

Once again, we thank those who have supported us during Social Impact Week and we hope that everyone will have a great semester ahead!
