The school semester has finally come to an end and the long awaited holidays are here!
To kickstart this summer holiday, OVE resumed our volunteering sessions and brought our wonderful Metta Home residents for a tour around Changi Airport on 28 May 2018!
Being one of the largest airport in the world, there were many points of interest that we could visit at Changi Airport. With three engaging terminals, our OVE members spent hours with the residents visiting different art installations, viewing galleries and activity stations.
Out of all the activities and viewing sites, our Metta home residents seemed to have a particular fascination for plane watching as we spent a bulk of our tour time viewing planes at the different galleries. Albeit, I have to agree that there is just something entrancing about watching planes take off and land safely.
And soon, our airport tour came to an end as we bid goodbye to the Metta Home residents and of course, the planes.
We hope they had a lovely time and till we see again, stay healthy and happy :).
