OVE’14 had the privilege to reach out to the less privileged living in Phuong Thinh commune, Vietnam. Working in cooperation with volunteers from ECO Vietnam Group, a local non-profit voluntary organization, OVE’14 embarked on a 16-day expedition from 21st July 2014 to 5th August 2014. 

 

Our beneficiaries were the primary school students in the local school and the villagers in the commune. The program for the expedition included supplementary lessons in English Language, construction of a kindergarten, cultural exchange through the partnership of EVG’s Vietnamese university students and the daily interactions with the villagers in the commune.
